Big Performer Review by DavyK
Just got back from S. Dakota prairie grouse hunt. The Extra Rossa HV #6 confirmed in the field what I saw on the patterning board - these shells in my 28 gauge SXS are bird killers! I may have to use them on SD roosters later this fall. They do pattern much tighter than the 3/4 oz. Rossa loads - perfect for the birds of the prairie. Great value for the price! (Posted on 9/30/11)
EXCELENT HARD HITTING LOADS Review by BIRDMAN
If you like hunting with a 28 Ga. you will love these loads!!! I hunt valley Quail in California, in the foot hills and mountains and there is nothing better to carry in your pack than 28 Ga.. Light and versatile these loads never fail to deliver! I have loaded my own and shot factory with mixed results. These loads, shot after shot are unbeatable! Thank you for delivering to the market an unbeatable product. (Posted on 1/16/11)

Been chasing Colinus Virginianus for 40 years down here in Georgia and Alabama. It's 9 ounces of pandemonium, times 18, in the air and then they are gone (to the swamp or over the next hill). A blurrrr.
I finished this season shooting my 28 gauge and tried these 15/16 ounce, high speed rounds. Wow! Killed 11 in row. All dropped dead on the ground. My buddies looked at me, "Like what is this?" These shells are something else. It's raining and my season is ending, but try these.
They are memory makers.

Used these shells this fall on Montana grouse with devastating effect. Absolutely the best shells on the market, able to drop these large birds at tremendous distances!

We hunt upland birds in Florida, Kentucky, and Texas. These 7-1/2 heavy loads (7/8 ounce) kill everything out to 40 or 50 yards. Great shotgun shell for quail, chuckers, and pheasants.

The 1-16th ounce load of 5.5 shot worked extremely well in my CSMC RBL-28 chambered in IC/Mod. I routinely took down roosters on my trip to South Dakota last week.

I Just hunted the opening day of the Utah wild pheasant season and these shells in #6 performed amazing. Both roosters I harvested were over a pointer, but with the wind blowing the way it was, the birds gained distance quickly. Both shots were over 40 yards and both mature birds were dead before hitting the ground. These shells are incredible!

Best 28 gauge dove load I've ever shot and I've been shooting 28 gauge for 43 years (handloads and factory). Almost no recoil and great downrange performance. Can't wait to try the 6's on winter season whitewings come January.

I'm very pleased with these shells - consistent patterns and well-made. In 7.5 the dead-in-air percentage is very high. I've encountered no problems whatsoever.

used these at nemicolin on a quail and chuker with deadly results it didnt matter the range presentation the result was the same instant death prior to hitting the ground shot to shot consistency was spot on great ammo for the price for sure

These are the best 28ga. shells I have tried so far. I can't wait to try them on birds, but I am quite impressed with what they do with clays.
