The story of B&P shells begins with adhering to scientific methodology of design and continuous quality improvement.

The Gordon System hull is the base of the most technologically advanced shotgun shell design in the world. Each hull contains a unique, patented, shock absorber in its base. This shock absorber compresses at the instant of ignition and significantly reduces felt recoil and deformation of the pellets in the shot column.

Reduced recoil means less hesitation from recoil-adverse shooters, faster second shot target acquisition, and a more pleasant shooting experience. Reduced shot deformation ensures the shot flight remains truer to the point of aim and produces the highest pattern density on target.

Each shell type, designated by B&P as a shell "family," is designed and exhaustively tested to ensure precisely the performance desired for its specific purpose.

Each shell of the family, 7/8 ounce often through a 1 1/8 ounce load, is designed to achieve the same velocity so the shooter can keep the same lead regardless of the desired shot load. This is achieved through a precision balance of propellant burn rate, wad flight characteristics, shot load and composition.

B&P shells combine the most advanced shell technology with old-world pride in craftsmanship.  In this, B&P strives for the ultimate consistency in shell performance. B&P begins with utilizing only the highest quality raw materials. Production machines are then continually monitored and frequent process control checks are made at every stage of production and of each batch of finished product.

There's an obvious reason why B&P shells are so highly acclaimed.

It's not just the reduced-recoil technology

It's the tight and superior pattern the load has from 40 yards.
